Met Gala 2025: Stars at the 2025 Met Gala celebrated the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme with a variety of unique ensembles full with meaning, showcasing amazing, daring fashion.

Here are a few of the highlights:

1. Rihanna

One of the most fashionable people who usually attends the Gala, Rihanna made a comeback to the Met steps this year wearing Marc Jacobs, revealing her pregnancy with the evening’s co-chair, A$AP Rocky.

2. Teyana Taylor

Teyana Taylor’s symbolic ensemble, which featured an opulent padding cloak with the words “Harlem rose” stitched in at the train and a custom pinstripe suit, was created in collaboration with Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter, the creative force behind the Black Panther movies. She accessorized them with a cane and a bold hat.

3. Sabrina Carpenter

All the tailoring of a standard suit was present in Sabrina Carpenter’s burgundy Louis Vuitton bodysuit. The singer said to have collaborated on the bottomless style with Pharrell Williams, the recording artist and men’s design director of Louis Vuitton.

4. Demi Moore

The cover star of people’s World’s Most Beautiful took this year’s subject quite literally by dressing in a Thom Browne gown that was designed to resemble a men’s tie. The 62-year-old actress from Substance accessorized her ensemble with a pair of pom-pom pumps in black and white.

Over 1,400,000 beads were used in the outfit, including 1,093,500 pieces of black bugle beads, 103,500 pieces of black cut beads, and 22,000 pieces of black rectangle sequins. The production time was almost 7,600 hours.

5. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian a regular at the Met Gala, knows how to make the most of her time in the spotlight. She attracted attention this year when she wore a Chrome Hearts off-the-shoulder two-piece ensemble in crocodile leather with a long train and an exposed back. She accented the ensemble with a huge leather hat, a multi-strand diamond necklace, and strings of pearls dangling around her waistband.

6. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Power couple! Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas had a glamorous date night at the Met Gala, wearing matching vintage-inspired ensembles that were connected to the event’s “Tailored for You.”

Chopra wear a black polka-dot skirt and white jacket that matched. A huge, wide-brimmed black hat, matching gloves, and an eye-catching Bulgari necklace with the 241-carat “Magnus Emerald,” “the largest faceted stone ever set by Bulgari,” according to a press release, completed her Balmain ensemble. (The outfit was completed by an emerald ring and Bulgari diamond earrings.)

Jonas chose to wear a cream-colored blouse with a scarf detail and long sleeves, emulating the style of Bianca Saunders. He accessorized his pants with a high-waisted belt to complete the look. To add a little shine, two elaborate brooches from Tiffany & Co. were fastened to the belt.
