Xiaomi POCO F6 Pro Launches With Early Launch Savings Across the Globe
The POCO F5 Pro’s replacement, priced at $498 on Amazon, was unveiled by Xiaomi a little more than a year after the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 phone made its global debut. This time, Xiaomi has given the POCO F6 Pro the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a more potent variant that, according to tests, performs roughly 22% better than the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Like the POCO F6, which the firm also introduced, the POCO F6 Pro also has LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage.
The POCO F6 Pro, as depicted in the picture below, uses a 5,000 mAh battery to power its flagship processor, which is refilled at 120 W using Xiaomi’s HyperCharge technology. In addition, the 6.67-inch display on the POCO F6 Pro has outputs of 3,220 x 1,440 pixels, 120 Hz, and 4,000 nits of peak brightness (1,200 nits HBM). In addition, the POCO F6 Pro’s chassis, which measures 160.86 x 74.95 x 8.21 mm and weighs 209 g, houses the following camera hardware:
- Primary: 50 MP, f/1.6 aperture, 2.0 μm 4-in-1 Super Pixel, OIS
- Ultra-wide-angle: 8 MP, f/2.2
- Macro: 2 MP, f/2.4
- Front-facing: 16 MP
With WildBoost Optimisation 3.0 turned on, Xiaomi’s “all-new” LiquidCool Technology 4.0 helps reduce throttling in the interim. On May 23, the POCO F6 Pro will be available for purchase both directly from Xiaomi and through other retailers like Amazon. The phone retails for £449.90 at launch, and €449.90 in the Eurozone.
