WhatsApp for Android May Soon Allow Users to Create AI Chatbots

Meta is allowing users to develop personalized AI chatbots on WhatsApp for Android, Through the new AI Studio feature. More people may have access to the functionality in the coming weeks as Meta continues to spread it out to a restricted group of beta testers.The function, which is already present on Instagram and Messenger, allows users to characterize a chatbot’s personality, goal, and even appearance.

How the AI Chatbot Creation Works

Purpose Description:

Users will need to first construct a prompt outlining the function and goal of the bespoke AI chatbot. Users can use up to 1,000 characters to provide a detailed description of their chatbot.

Personality Selection:

Although users are able to add their own qualities, WhatsApp will recommend a few depending on the description.

Role Assignment:

Users can designate identification functions such as “teacher,” “helper,” or “mentor” to give the chatbot certain responsibilities to complete.

Avatar Customization:

Users will then be able to select the chatbot’s avatar. WhatsApp will make an avatar recommendation based on the shared data. Users can alter the image or make a new one with text instructions, though. After these procedures are finished, the AI Studio will produce a brand-new, personalized AI chatbot that users may start interacting with.

However, This feature is now only accessible to a limited number of beta testers; additional people will be able to access it in the upcoming weeks.
