UEFA Women’s Nations League England Releases their Squad for their Matches Against Spain, Portugal

Good news for the Lionesses seven weeks before the start of the European Championship: Alex Greenwood, Georgia Stanway, and Lauren Hemp have returned to the England women’s team for forthcoming Nations League matches against Portugal and Spain.
England would be guaranteed a spot in the Nations League knockout stage starting in October if they defeated Portugal on May 30 at Wembley and Spain on June 3 in Barcelona.
In February, England defeated Spain 1-0 after drawing 1-1 with Portugal.
“These are another two important games for us in a big year. Naturally we are preparing for the summer ahead. We saw in February that both Portugal and Spain will provide a big challenge and that excites us,” Wiegman said.
“These are the levels we need to compete against to make sure we are the best possible version of ourselves on 5 July when our EURO begins.”
