Taeho Style Hong, also known as Taeho Style, is a distinguished Canadian business developer, investor, and entrepreneur recognized for founding Musicworks Canada (Musicworks Academy outside Canada). Born on May 9, 1983, in Busan, South Korea, Taeho came to Canada with his parents and two younger brothers as a young adolescent. He faced early challenges, experiencing homelessness after being abandoned by his parents at 15. Despite adversities, his determination led him to pursue education, initially at Cochrane High School and later at the Alberta University of Arts and the University of Calgary, where he studied Visual Communication and Art History. He married Meihua Cui in 2013, and despite a separation in 2020, they maintain an amicable relationship, sharing joint custody of their four children, demonstrating resilience in both personal and professional aspects of life.

Taeho’s early career involved diverse roles in the hospitality industry, contributing to marketing strategies and floor management at establishments like Moxie’s, Applebee’s, Papa John’s, and the SOHO Lounge. His career took a transformative turn in 2004 when he entered commercial photography, traveling to over 46 countries and founding Kallos, a media production and printing company. In 2014, he ventured into entrepreneurship with Flexion, a motorcycle leather company, and continued founding startups through the TS Group.

A significant milestone in 2016 saw the expansion of Kallos into an international brand, establishing Kallos Studio as a prominent brand in Canada. Taeho’s contributions extend to the automotive industry, where he prepared Service Training Modules for dealerships across Calgary, Alberta, from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, as an educator and ambassador for Profoto, he established Your Profoto, the largest Pro-Equipment Rental House in Western Canada.

Today, Taeho stands as the eminent founder and CEO of TS Group, which includes Musicworks Canada and TS Motorsports and acts as the owner, CEO, and design architect of Flexion, the founder of Your Profoto, founder and creative director of Kallos Studio, and an angel investor and co-owner of SR International. Under his leadership, Musicworks Canada has expanded its offerings to include academic tutoring and groundbreaking AI-driven mathematics and coding classes developed by SPRIX Japan and will soon expand to the U.S. as Musicworks Academy.

Taeho’s journey from South Korea to Canada, the complexities of his family relationships, the trials he faced while setting up his professional career, and the challenges in his marriage highlight his resilience and determination.
