The official introduction of TallyPrime 4.0 in South India was announced on Thursday by Tally Solutions, the top provider of business management software in India, with the goal of empowering SMEs to conduct their operations more effectively.

According to the company, the launch aligns with Tally’s aim to offer business owners and end users an unmatched and enhanced experience. In the next two to three years, the company wants to grow its customer base by 50% and achieve a CAGR of 40%.

The new features in TallyPrime 4.0 BETA elevate the BMS experience with easy-to-use dashboards, seamless data import from Microsoft Excel, and WhatsApp for Business.

Andhra Pradesh has 4.1 lakh GSTN-registered SME enterprises, according to official government data. The state has also set a goal of establishing 100 SME business clusters over the next two years. Based on the 40% increase in the number of people working for SMEs from 4.05 lakh in 2019 to 5.61 lakh in 2023, these companies also appear to be growing. As per Bhuwan Ranjan, General Manager (South India), Tally Solutions, AP is a high growth region for Tally, where the business is making significant efforts to support these SMEs in their digitalization journey and aiming for a growth of 60% annually.

Tally’s approach for Andhra Pradesh involves collaborating with distinct business associations across diverse industries, such as textiles, plywood, sawmills, and raw material suppliers, to facilitate the automation of their business processes. Tally also hopes to establish connections with all SMEs in the State, including mandals and municipalities, by utilizing its vast network of 200 partners and 51,000 clients.

“Since Tally Prime’s launch a few years ago, we have been consistently working towards bringing powerful business management experiences focused on simplifying and automating the way SMEs operate their businesses,” Ranjan stated in response to the launch.
