Rachel Brosnahan on Her First Impressions of the New Superman Suit

DirectTV spoke with Rachel Brosnahan on the red carpet of the SAG Awards, which took place on Saturday, February 24, at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. She was asked why she chose to play Lois Lane in the upcoming movie “Superman: Legacy.”

“She’s intelligent, driven, and humorous at times, and she’s aware that she’s usually the smartest person in the room.”

Filming is expected to start this coming week in Atlanta, Georgia, after the actors met this past week for a table read of the screenplay.

David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer are among the cast members of “Superman: Legacy.”

“Superman: Legacy,” which is helmed by James Gunn, is slated for release on July 11, 2025.
