In an interview with a magazine, Amitabh Bachchan says he has stopped eating meat, fish, sugar, and rice
Amitabh Bachchan gave a lengthy response when contestant Vidya Uday Redkar questioned him about his favourite dish during the most recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Amitabh Bachchan has listed all of the foods he no longer enjoys. In an interview with contestant Vidya Uday Redkar from Boisar, Maharashtra on Tuesday’s episode of his game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, the 80-year-old actor revealed the revelation. He claimed that despite his wife Jaya Bachchan’s fondness for fish, he had given up fish and many other things.
Amitabh Bachchan questioned Vidya about her favourite cuisine throughout the performance. She claimed to be a non-vegetarian and that her favourite food was fish. Amitabh Bachchan responded, “bahut zyada pasand hai,” when she questioned him, “Jaya ji ko bhi fish pasand hai na sir.”
When she asked Amitabh if he also liked fish, he replied, “Humne chhod dia hai. Bahut si cheeze chhod di hain. Jawani mein sab kujh karne ka mun karta hai, to abhi maas khana chhod dia hai, haal hi mein meetha chhod dia hai, chawal chhod dia hai, paan chhod dia hai, oho, aage nahi bolenge (I have stopped eating fish. I have stopped eating many things. One feels like eating everything in youth. I have now left meat, sweet items, rice, paan. I won’t speak any further).” This left the audience in splits.
Amitah Bachchan was informed by Vidya that “people come here for money, I have come to meet you” before they could start the game. She replied, “meri 22 saal ki tapasya aaj ring lai hai (my 22 years of struggle has paid off today)” when Amitabh suggested they might have met anywhere. She works as an insurance agent and a part-time accountant.
Amitabh, on the other hand, is eagerly anticipating the premiere of his new movie, Uunchai. Three friends decide to climb Mount Everest to grant their fourth friend’s final desire in the Sooraj Barjatya movie.
