At AIIMS Delhi, comedian Raju Srivastava is being kept alive on a ventilator after having a heart attack. He is currently responding to the clinical therapy.

Raju Srivastava had a heart attack as he was exercising in the gym. On the treadmill, the well-known stand-up comedian was exercising when he suddenly passed out from chest pain. His trainer brought him to AIIMS Delhi, where he received thrice CPR to revive his heart. According to the most recent medical assessment, Raju is benefiting from his treatment.

RAJU SRIVASTAVA IS RESPONDING TO TREATMENT

ANI reported Raju Srivastava’s latest health update. It says that the comediam is on ventilator at AIIMS Delhi. He is responding to clinical treatment. He was admitted here yesterday after he experienced chest pain and collapsed while working out at the gym. He underwent angioplasty later.

He is currently being treated by the AIIMS team of Cardiology and Emergency department led by Dr Nitish Nyay. As per AIIMS sources, Srivastava suffered a cardiac arrest while working out in the gym and was brought to the hospital by his trainer. The comedian was given CPR twice to resuscitate his heart. He has revived and is currently at AIIMS under observation.

RAJU’S BROTHER ASHISH CONFIRMS HEART ATTACK

Raju Srivastava’s brother, Ashish Srivastava confirmed the news. He said, “Kanpur-based comedian, Raju Srivastava, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Film Board, had a heart attack while going to the gym. He was staying in Delhi to meet some of the big leaders of the state. He went to the gym in the morning and then went to another gym that day. During the same time, he got a heart attack. He has been admitted to AIIMS. But he is back under control. After 5 minutes, the doctors allowed the relatives to meet his grandfather. Only after meeting him, they will be able to give rest of the information.”
