Genesis GV70 SUV Makes Global Debut with 19-Inch Wheels and a 27-Inch Display

The 2024 GV70 SUV has been unveiled by Hyundai’s luxury subsidiary, Genesis, for the worldwide market. Now, the luxurious SUV aligns with the brand’s most recent “Athletic Elegance” styling concept. Upgrades to its exterior include a new skid plate fitted on the front bumper, a radiator grille with a dual-weave mesh pattern, two-line turn signals, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, integrated rear turn signals are now part of the taillights. Next month, the revamped Genesis GV70 SUV is anticipated to make its debut in Korea. More details about the engine and other features will most likely be revealed during this launch.

Highlights of the New Genesis GV70’s Powertrain and Interior

A larger 27-inch OLED display unifies the infotainment system and instrument cluster on the revised GV70. It features a new dual-tone design, touch-based HVAC controls, and a Genesis emblem on the steering wheel.

The powertrain specifications of Hyundai’s luxury brand have not yet been made public, but the GV70 facelift is probably going to stick with the same lineup of engines: a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine, and a 3.5-liter V6 turbopetrol engine.

What’s New About the Genesis GV70?

Together with the base model, Genesis has also revised the GV70 Sport. A rear diffuser, dark-chrome exhaust tips, a new set of 21-inch wheels, and a double-layered G-Matrix Crest Grille are included with the updated Sport trim level. Orange stitching and a flat-bottom steering wheel complement the cabin.

Concept for a Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Tribute

In Switzerland, Genesis unveiled a special X Gran Berlinetta Tribute concept in honor of legendary Formula 1 driver and Bathurst champion Jacky Ickx. The X Gran Berlinetta Concept-based masterpiece may be identified by its Midnight Blue paint job and white stripe on the bonnet, which were drawn from Jacky Ickx’s racing helmet. It has big gold-finished alloy rims, racing flag decorations on the fenders, and a crest grille.

With a front mid-mounted V6 (856 bhp) and a single electric motor (198 bhp), the concept’s hybrid system produces an incredible 1056 bhp of total power.
