Apple iOS 26: Apple revealed iOS 26 during its WWDC 2025 keynote, the company formally acknowledged its significant rebranding. Apple’s decision to change the naming scheme of its mobile software is not surprising.
Although iOS 18 was compatible with all iPhone models running iOS 17, Apple has chosen to leave three models out of the iOS 26 update:

- iPhone XS Max
A change in Apple’s update strategy will result in these devices no longer receiving the most recent version of iOS.

What iOS 26 Will Bring
