Unveiled With AWD and a Hybrid Powertrain, the Jeep Avenger 4xe

A new iteration of the Avenger SUV has been released by Jeep for the worldwide market. It is known as the Avenger 4xe and has an all-wheel drive system that combines an internal combustion petrol engine with two electric motors. Up until today, the SUV was exclusively offered for sale as an internal combustion engine and electric car. Jeep has stated that the Avenger 4xe will be offered in two trim levels, Overland and Upland, and that orders would begin to be accepted by Q4 2024. Jeep currently has no intentions to introduce the Avenger to the Indian market.

The Jeep Avenger 4xe is equipped with a gearbox, two electric motors, and a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The electric motors can each generate 28 horsepower, however the engine only generates 135 bhp. A 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission connected to the engine powers the front wheels, while electric motors with a 1,900 Nm torque output power the rear wheels. With 36 horsepower and 25 Nm more than the e-Hybrid FWD variant, the 4xe powertrain establishes a new standard in the Avenger hybrid lineup.

With the e-Boost function engaged, the Jeep Avenger 4xe can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 194 kmph. Additionally, Jeep is providing a 48-volt hybrid system to improve the SUV’s functionality and fuel economy. Additionally, Jeep’s Selec-Terrain with Auto, Snow, Sand, and Mud modes is available for off-road vehicles. Additionally, a Sport mode is available. A 22-degree approach, a 21-degree breakover, and a 35-degree departure angle are available with the Avenger 4xe. The innovative multilink rear suspension that Jeep has developed has made this possible. The Avenger 4xe is now capable of wading through 400 mm of water because of the 10 mm increase in ground clearance.
