Tecno Camon 40 Series Unveiled at MWC 2025 with Four New Models

Tecno Camon 40 Series: At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Tecno debuted its Camon 40 line of smartphones. The Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Camon 40 Premier 5G are among the models in the lineup. The phones have 50-megapixel selfie cameras and a new One-Tap Button. They have Tecno AI installed, which offers a number of productivity and imaging tools supported by AI. It is anticipated that the phones will soon be sold in a few international areas.
Tecno Camon 40, 40 Pro, 40 Pro 5G
With the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset at its core, the Camon 40 and Camon 40 Pro are the most reasonably priced 4G models in the family. A 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz is one of their features.
The devices are powered by a 5,200mAh battery that can be charged at 45W rapid rate. The Camon 40 Pro has a 50MP selfie camera, while the normal Camon 40 maintains its 32MP front camera. This is the main distinction between the two models. The same 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a depth sensor are located on the rear of both models.
With the exception of the processor, the Camon 40 Pro 5G is essentially the same package. Everything else, including the design and battery, stays the same, except it replaces the Dimensity 7300 SoC with one that supports 5G.
Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G
The Camon 40 Premier 5G is the lineup’s true star. Instead of using a vertical camera architecture like other models, it uses a circular camera module. Three 50MP lenses are housed inside for wide, ultrawide, and 3x optical zoom photos. Additionally, OIS functionality is available for the primary lens.
A 50MP autofocus sensor is also included with the front camera. It has a somewhat smaller 5,100mAh battery that can be charged more quickly at 70W. It is powered by the Dimensity 8350 chip. The display has also been improved to a 6.67-inch panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a crisper resolution of 1260p.
Details on availability and pricing have not yet been disclosed
