Sony’s newest mid-range smartphone, the Xperia 10 VII formally unveiled. A Google Pixel-like camera module, a 50-megapixel primary sensor with greater quality, a smoother 120Hz OLED display, and the more recent Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor are all features of the new model that set it apart from the previous generation.

The Sony Xperia 10 VII has improved rear cameras mounted horizontally within a pill-shaped module that resembles a Pixel. The phone includes two sensors: a 13 MP ultrawide unit and a 50 MP Sony Exmor RS primary sensor. The device has a camera with 8 MP for taking selfies.

The Sony Xperia 10 VII features a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and Full HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset powers it, along with 128GB of internal storage that can be upgraded up to 2TB using microSD cards and 8GB of RAM. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that lasts for two days and supports PD charging.

The phone also has a dedicated camera shutter button, a 3.5mm headphone connector, two front-facing speakers, and an IP65/68 rating. The phone weights 168g and is 8.3mm thin.

Xperia 10 VII is available in Charcoal Black, Turquoise, and White. The starting price is about €449 (~$525).
