Samsung’s Galaxy S25, S25+ Series with Snapdragon 8 Elite Launched

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, its flagship models for 2025. The remarkable Galaxy AI features are the event’s primary focus and the devices’ primary selling point. Additionally, Samsung has improved a few design components. These smartphones run One UI 7, which is based on Android 15, and are powered by a specially designed Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. They will also receive OS and security updates for seven years.

Specifications:

The base and plus versions share the same appearance as their predecessors, to start. Silver Shadow, Navy, Mint, and Icy Blue are the new color possibilities.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 200MP primary camera, an enhanced 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits. It has up to 1TB of storage, 12GB of RAM, and the ability to record log videos. It costs $1,299 and has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly at 45W.

A 6.2-inch Full-HD+ display is found on the Galaxy S25, while a 6.7-inch QHD+ display is found on the Galaxy S25+. A 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto lenses make up the triple back camera configuration found on both versions. The Galaxy S25+ boasts a 4,900mAh battery that charges at 45W, while the S25 has a 4,000mAh battery that charges at 25W.

Cost and accessibility:

The Galaxy S25, which starts at $799 in the US, has two storage options and 12GB of RAM.

  • 256 GB costs $809.

The Plus variant has extra storage in addition to the same amount of RAM.

  • 256GB costs $999.
  • 512GB costs $1019
