Peacemaker Season 2 on OTT: Following the debut of its first season in 2021, Peacemaker is returning with a second installment. The series is based on DC Comics’ eponymous character. The plot of Peacemaker, a jingoistic mercenary, is carried over from the DCU film Superman. A spin-off of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) movie The Suicide Squad (2021), the first season of the show debuts. In contrast, the DCU, a gentle reboot of the DCEU, is the setting for the second season.
Peacemaker Season 2: Plot
The story continues with Chris Smith, also known as Peacemaker, wearing his Superman-inspired costume. After his choices in the first season blurred the line between hero and anti-hero, he must now face the consequences. As retaliation for his son’s passing, Rick Flag Sr. will pursue him.
Peacemaker finds an other reality in Season 2 that provides him with the life he has always desired. Nevertheless, this revelation compels him to look back on his past while attempting to influence his future. The season looks at satire, guilt, repentance, revenge, and what it really means to be a hero.

Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. Peacemaker, John Cena as Chris Smith, also known as Peacemaker, Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith, also known as White Dragon, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase, also known as Vigilante, and Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo are all featured in the series. James Gunn is the writer and director of Season 2.
The cast also includes Dorian Kingi, Michael Ian Black, David Denman, Taylor St. Clair, Nhut Le, Elizabeth Faith Ludlow, Brey Noelle, Terence Rosemore, Stephen Blackehart, Reinaldo Faberlle, Brandon Stanley, and others.
