OpenAI Introduces an Advanced ChatGPT Agent for Smooth Task Automation

OpenAI has unveiled its new and potent ChatGPT agent, which can automate difficult processes and respond to user queries with many steps. ChatGPT’s Pro, Plus, and Team users are now able to access this state-of-the-art AI agent.
The ChatGPT Agent is Capable of Finishing Tasks on its Own Desktop
ChatGPT Agent has the intelligence and conversational fluency of ChatGPT, together with Operator’s capacity to connect with websites and deep research’s ability to synthesize knowledge.
Now, ChatGPT Agent is able to interact with websites by collecting only the necessary data, filtering through material, and clicking buttons. Users can move from having discussions to asking particular actions without ever leaving the chatbot since the agent is incorporated into the chatbot. The agent can also obtain more context in this way.
The agent comes a set of tools that are included with it to carry out tasks on its own. It features a terminal, a text-based browser for fast information gathering, a graphic browser for the agent to interact with the web, and direct application programming interface (API) access.
Experimental tools like Operator and Deep Research are already available in ChatGPT. While Deep Research automates difficult information collection, the operator can surf websites. For smooth job execution and advanced thinking, the new Agent combines the advantages of both of these techniques. In order to increase productivity, users can also link apps like GitHub and Gmail, which let the agent retrieve papers, scan emails, and examine code repositories.
Current ChatGPT agents are accessible to Plus, Team, and Pro subscribers. It is now available to Pro users, but other users should get it in the next days. The agent will also be extended in the upcoming weeks to the Enterprise and Education tiers. Notably, the monthly rate limit for Pro users is 400 messages, whereas the monthly restriction for other levels is 40 messages.
