Meet Bryan Goldstein – New York Based Matrimonial And Family Law Attorney Committed To Taking Clients All The Way To The Finish Line

New York City-based matrimonial and family law attorney Bryan M. Goldstein is dedicated to giving his clients a fresh start by guiding them through the emotional and complicated process of divorce. Goldstein takes on tough,  challenging cases, often encountering new issues. Goldstein represents a wide range of clients in a variety of matrimonial and family law matter including divorce, custody, visitation and parenting time, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, businesses valuations, same-sex divorce, orders of protection and domestic violence, relocations, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, and even handles appeals.

Goldstein is collaborative with his clients and maintains an open line of communication with them in order to ensure they are a part of, and understand, the process every step of the way.  Goldstein believes this allows  him and the client to work toward and achieve the best possible outcome.  For him, it is about helping someone who is going through what may be one of the most difficult times of their life.

“My relationship with my clients is very important. Everyone is unique and individual, and have to be treated as such. I am very passionate about getting people to the finish line, working diligently with them.  For many, it’s a battle, a struggle full of emotion; I like to be here for them and to be the one people can rely upon through these incredibly difficult, and life-changing times.”

Goldstein strives to be realistic, making sure clients understand what the legal process entails.

“I won’t rest until I get results. I pride myself on always being transparent with my clients, and make sure they understand their rights and entitlements. I understand my clients, which helps us to work toward achieving their goals so they can get that fresh start.”

Every client that Goldstein serves starts with an in-depth consultation, where he learns the details of an overall situation. Once hired, he jumps in full force, whether it’s entering into negotiations, or diving right into court. Goldstein does not give up or back away from a challenge. As he explains, some issues, such as same-sex divorce, are often covering new legal ground, and the legal protections are not all present. This is an area he has become passionate about, and has lectured on.

Growing up in Suffern, New York, Goldstein shares that he knew from a young age he would go into the field of law, always wanting to become a litigator.  He studied as an undergrad at the University at Buffalo, then pursued a law degree at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.  Since graduating law school, he has always practiced matrimonial law. He developed the family law department in a large law firm that did not have a family law practice prior to Goldstein’s hire. After it’s rapid growth, he was brought on as a partner with Grant, Herrmann, Schwartz, & Klinger LLP, where he heads the matrimonial and family law department.

Goldstein was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2020 and 2021, and named one of the Top 10 Attorneys Under 40 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
