Maybach GLS 600 and Mercedes-Benz S 63 E Performance Launched in India

The AMG S 63 E Performance and Maybach GLS 600 have been introduced by Mercedes-Benz to the Indian market. Prices for the AMG S 63 Performance start at Rs. 3.3 crore, the GLS 600 costs ₹3.35 crore, and the unique “Edition 1” starts at Rs. 3.8 crore (all-India ex-showroom).

First Edition Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance

Limited quantities of the AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 will be available from Mercedes. There are a few factory-only options included with it. For example, the radiator grille is unique to the AMG. AMG-specific side paneling and 21-inch forged wheels are visible from the sides, while a diffuser and twin tailpipes are located at the back.

Additionally, the inside features distinctive colors, diamond stitching only found in AMG vehicles, and a variety of Nappa leather upholstery with the AMG symbol engraved on the front headrests. Additionally, the steering wheel is an AMG-only component. AMG- and hybrid-specific displays and functions are displayed by the MBUX system. Drive modes can be taken into consideration when further customizing the instrument cluster.

A 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a maximum power output of 800 bhp and a combined peak torque output of 1,430 Nm powers the AMG S 63 E Performance. With a driving range of 33 km, the electric motors are fueled by a 13.1 kWh battery pack. There is a 9-speed transmission operating the gearbox.

In the Indian market, the Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC is highly well-liked. A Burmester surround sound system, an MBUX high-end rear seat entertainment system, an Acoustic Comfort package, Multibeam LED with high beam assist, an updated parking system, and an upgraded steering wheel design and functionality are all included. Mercedes-Benz also provides options for personalized paint, upholstery, alloy wheels, and equipment, allowing a buyer to personalize his vehicle.

The MM GLS 600 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine from M177, producing a maximum power output of 555 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. Additionally, it now has integrated starter generator technology, which provides a 22 horsepower and 250 Nm torque boost when needed.
