Jeep Introduces the Meridian Limited (O) Trim Level with 4×4. Here are 5 Things About the SUV

1 4×4 Reintroduced in Limited (O)

Due to strong consumer demand, Jeep India has reinstated the 4X4 capability for the Limited (O) models of the Meridian SUV. Previously, the top-spec Overland model was the only one with the 4X4 drivetrain. At a more affordable price of ₹36.79 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹1.70 lakh less than the Overland variant, purchasers may now enjoy improved off-road capability. This makes the Limited (O) model the only one in the Meridian portfolio that comes with both all-wheel drive (AWD) and front-wheel drive (FWD).

2. Design

Along with its iconic Jeep grille in the front, the Jeep Meridian’s design gives it a large, muscular appearance. Under the LED headlights, it is painted black, and a chrome strip is added to the lower portion of the front fascia. The LED tail lights at the back include a horizontal bar and satin chrome embellishments. In the meantime, the revised Meridian’s side profile has trapezoidal wheel arches.

    3. Engine

The 2.0-liter diesel engine that powers the Meridian 4X4 model produces 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of peak torque. This model comes with a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic powertrain from Jeep. Limited (O) purchasers, on the other hand, have more control over their driving experience because the Overland variant’s 4X4 technology is only combined with the automatic transmission.

      4. New Accessories

Jeep has added a new accessories pack to the Meridian that is compatible with all models in an effort to increase its allure. Eyeliner accents, a fashionable hood decal, a side body decal, and adjustable ambient lighting are all included in this kit. Although the cost of these additions has not yet been disclosed, these visual enhancements enable buyers to customize their SUV for a more unique appearance.

        5. Cost

The Jeep Meridian is competitively priced starting at 25 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and reaching *38.49 lakh for the top-spec trim.
