Gia Coppola's The Last Showgirl will Star Pamela Anderson, Kiernan Shipka, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, and Billie Lourd

Gia Coppola is directing The Last Showgirl, which stars Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka, and Billie Lourd. The script was written by Kate Gersten, with Robert Schwartzman and Natalie Farrey serving as producers. Pinky Promise’s Jesse Burgum and Kara Durrett will executive produce.

“I’ve always wanted to make a movie in Vegas,” says Coppola. “I’m so proud of our cast and crew, especially Pamela. I can’t wait to share her daring and heartfelt performance!”

The movie centers on an experienced showgirl who, after her 30-year run, must make plans for the future as her show abruptly ends. She is in her sixties and is a dancer who is unsure of her future. She tries to mend her troubled mother-daughter connection, as her daughter was frequently overlooked in favor of her showgirl relatives.

“Dream project, dream cast,” Schwartzman said “We couldn’t be more honored and appreciative of the chance to tell an authentic Las Vegas story that pays homage to the iconic Showgirl, told through Gia’s unique sense of style and visual storytelling.”

Production on the movie was just completed. Sales are handled by CAA. Untitled and CAA are Coppola’s representatives. Independent Artist Group represents Anderson. CAA is Curtis’s rep.
