Fantastic Four: Jodie Comer as Sue Storm stuns in stunning image

Fans had been urging Jodie Comer to play Sue Storm, a.k.a. the Invisible Woman, in Fantastic Four, and this image demonstrates why they were correct.

The upcoming Fantastic Four film has suffered another setback in the form of a delay, but Marvel Cinematic Universe fans aren’t too upset about it. Why? Because, once upon a time, it appeared that the heroic foursome would never make an appearance on the MCU.

Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing are all set to return to the big screen after the studio repurchased Fox’s film rights.

And, while rumours about who will play which characters continue to circulate, take a moment to admire this incredible artwork of Jodie Comer dressed as Sue Storm.

Diiegodesigner, a digital artist, recently shared a recent piece of his artwork on Instagram, depicting what Jodie Comer could look like if she were to play Sue Storm, a.k.a. the Invisible Woman, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Fantastic Four.

Comer is dressed in the Marvel team’s iconic blue uniform, with their recognisable “4” insignia on her shoulder. A blue glow surrounds her, which, along with her bright blue eyes, teases her incredible abilities.

Is Jodie Comer in the role of Sue Storm in Fantastic Four?

At this time, it is unknown who will play the Invisible Woman in the MCU because the role has yet to be cast (or at the very least, it has yet to be announced). However, Jodie Comer has been heavily rumoured to play the role, with a recent report claiming that Marvel has quietly cast her in the role.

According to the report, Penn Badgley has been cast in the role of Reed Richards. The only problem is that the report also assumed Marvel Studios would announce the pair’s casting at the Disney D23 Fan Expo, which did not occur.

According to recent reports, Marvel Studios President Kevin Fiege and director Matt Shakman will begin casting for the film as soon as the writers have been chosen and the script can be written.

As with all rumours, Jodie Comer’s rumoured casting should be taken with a grain of salt, especially since it was not announced at D23.

There is no doubt that the Killing Eve star would be an excellent choice for the role.
