Erin Carr: The Self-Made Entrepreneur Turning Hustle Into Six-Figure Success Stories

In a world where entrepreneurship is often romanticized, Erin Carr brings a breath of fresh, real air. She’s a woman who doesn’t just dream big — she executes bigger. Combining grit with heart, and hustle with strategy, Erin is proving that with the right mindset, anything is possible.
As the founder of LA Glam Co, a hair accessories brand for women, and yehMATE, a purpose-driven wellness & lifestyle brand supporting men’s mental health, Erin has carved a unique lane that blends profit with purpose. At just 34, she’s not just making noise — she’s building six-figure revenue streams through her platforms while locking in meaningful & solid retail placements and brand partnerships along the way that will take the businesses to another level once again.
“Being a business owner isn’t always glamorous,” she says. “Most days are exhausting, unpredictable, and far from easy — but if you believe in what you’re building, you keep showing up.”
LA Glam Co recently reached a major milestone with placement in Target USA, a huge brand moment that validated a lot of hard work behind-the-scenes and growth. But Erin is quick to clarify: while getting into Target is a proud accomplishment, “we have a lot more to achieve & a very exciting journey ahead of us with more hard work to come”.
Every sale, every milestone, and every step forward has been self-made — built without outside investors, VC backing, or silent partners. “Everything I’ve built has come from reinvesting into the vision and staying focused on long-term impact,” she says.
Meanwhile, Erin’s second brand, yehMATE, is gaining powerful momentum. Focused on breaking the stigma around men’s mental health, it’s already aligning with mission-led campaigns and organization’s that reflect Erin’s deeper purpose — to create brands that spark conversation, connection, and community.
Her secret? A relentless work ethic, deep relationship-building, and fearless adaptability. Inspired by growing up in a family owned business and watching years and years of hard work from her father, Erin has long known that success doesn’t show up — it’s something you create. “Opportunities don’t fall into your lap — at least they haven’t for me,” she says. “You have to chase them, earn them, and make them real.”
Erin’s journey is about more than products and profit — it’s about building brands that mean something. She’s showing that entrepreneurship isn’t just a path to wealth; it’s a way to inspire others, shift culture, and prove that there’s power in starting before you feel ready.
Looking ahead, Erin has major plans and some of which have to remain tight-lipped for now with more retail opportunities under way & even more growth across her digital platforms.
But through it all, her values remain the same: resilience, authenticity, and staying true to herself — no matter what anyone else thinks or may say.
She’s not just building businesses. She’s building a movement — one that proves success isn’t about asking for permission. It’s about starting, showing up, and scaling on your own terms.
“It’s easy to start a brand,” she says. “It’s harder to build one that matters”.
