A sedentary lifestyle is the biggest threat to our heart. One should be actively involved in physical activities in order to have a healthy heart. Undoubtedly, these lifestyle changes have brought more threats and risks than comforts to us. Heart attack rates are tremendously increasing in young people. This is high time and we should understand the importance of a healthy heart.

We all deserve to live a healthy and happy life, and that is only possible when we make the right choice in our lives. Doctor Integralist Biprajit Parbat quoted, “Your lifestyle choices and types of exercise can help immensely in preventing heart attacks.”

Believe it or not, coronary diseases are becoming one of the leading causes of death. People these days are involved in almost all unhealthy habits that lead to heart diseases. For instance, the easiest way to ward off stress is smoking now. Yes, many people smoke because they feel a little less stressed after that. For a moment, smoking can help you ward off your stress, but the long term impacts of smoking are really dangerous. It takes a toll on your heart, which is threatening.

Eating anything or everything is another major cause of heart disease. You should be really cautious about your eating habits. No matter what, one should always eat a healthy diet. You should eat wholesome grains, healthy fats, etc. Also, Salt, Sugar, Processed carbohydrates, Alcohol, and Saturated fat should be consumed in moderation.

Lastly, no physical activity can be life-threatening. That is why it is important that you get moving. Indulge yourself in 30 – 60 minutes of physical activity daily. You can consider gymming, yoga, cycling, swimming, etc. if all these things seem too much, then a simple walk for an hour or half will be enough to give your body a movement. Also, it will help you keep your heart healthy and fit!

Get up and get moving; say YES to a Healthy Heart!!
