Cannes 2025 Lineup:
The French Riviera will once again be the center of the world’s film industry, with iconic figures like Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, and Robert De Niro taking center stage.
At the festival’s opening ceremony on May 13, legendary American actor Robert De Niro will receive the Honorary Palme d’Or. From Taxi Driver to Raging Bull and The Irishman, the prize honors his outstanding achievements to filmmaking throughout a more than fifty-year career.
On May 14, Tom Cruise will make a significant appearance at the Cannes Film Festival when his film Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning is presented. The Palme d’Or d’Honneur for lifetime accomplishment will go to Robert De Niro. Nicole Kidman will receive the Women in Motion Award on May 18, later in the festival. The event will also showcase the work of renowned directors with highly anticipated films including Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme and Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest.

Juliette Binoche will chair the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, and international actors and filmmakers Halle Berry, Payal Kapadia, Jeremy Strong, Alba Rohrwacher, Dieudo Hamadi, Leila Slimani, Hong Sangsoo, and Carlos Reygadas will be on the jury panel.
