Asus Releases the Zenfone 11 Ultra, which has a Large Display and Costs $899

Over the past few years, the Asus Zenfone brand has maintained its status as the only decent compact phone with a reasonable price. That is no longer the case, as the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra, which has an even larger display and a higher price, launches today.

The 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra offers a brightness of 2,500 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. While it has a robust panel, its size is noticeably bigger than that of the Zenfone 10. It was a fairly small phone overall because of its modest 5.92-inch display.

The Ultra’s fundamental difference from the ROG Phone 8 is that it is essentially a redesigned phone. It even mostly shares the same design, along with the same specifications and display. The Zenfone 11 Ultra sports more colors and a more subdued skin on top of Android 14, but otherwise, the only significant modifications are in the software and build quality.

Additionally, according to Asus, the 5,500 mAh battery in its flagship smartphone, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, may last up to 26 hours when charged cable and 15 hours when charging wirelessly. With 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in addition to that flagship CPU, it ought to be quite the performance.

A 50MP primary camera, 32MP 3x telephoto camera, and 13MP ultrawide camera complete the specification sheet. There is a free case included in the box, and the entire gadget is IP68 water and dust proof. With dual-SIM dual standby, the gadget allows users to use two phone numbers simultaneously and supports both AT&T and T-Mobile networks in the US.

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra will cost $899 in the United States. Although that is a significant increase over the $699 Zenfone 10 price, certain other devices, such as the Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra, are still less expensive. Pre-ordering from the Asus shop through Rakuten can help you save a little money. In April, the Zenfone 11 Ultra will ship.
