Apple’s online store is currently closed in some countries
Apple’s online store is currently closed in some countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and more. While the downtime is not worldwide, the store is still operating in some other countries.
“We’re making updates to the Apple Store,” the store page says, as usual when there’s downtime. Apple advises customers to “check back soon.”
It’s unclear whether the downtime is related to scheduled maintenance, new product launches, rollouts of new promotional offers, changes to the design or functionality of Apple’s online stores, or other reasons.
Apple’s online store went down briefly on the last day of June, and when it came back online, a new promotion in the U.S. offered a $50 Apple gift card with the purchase of any new Apple TV through July 14. given to the store. Closed again on the last day of July, there may be another promotion incoming in some countries, but this is one of the many possibilities of downtime and we will have to wait and see.
