Zootopia 2: The official trailer for Zootopia 2, the next exciting installment in the cherished franchise, was unveiled by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Resurring as the voices of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman are now negotiating their changing relationship on and off the police department.

In the trailer, bunny police woman Judy Hopps (played by Ginnifer Goodwin) and cunning fox Nick Wilde (played by Jason Bateman) work together on a new case while negotiating their developing relationship. On Chief Bogo’s (Idris Elba’s voice) orders, the pair joins the Partners in Crisis counseling program. Shortly after, they are tested when a poisonous snake enters the animal city. The new antagonist in Zootopia 2 is a snake called Gary De’Snake, who is portrayed by Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan. Zootopia has descended into pandemonium since his arrival in the city.

Quinta Brunson, who plays the eccentric quokka therapist Dr. Fuzzby, and Fortune Feimster, who plays the energetic beaver Nibbles Maplestick, are joining the returning ensemble. Favorite characters are also returning: Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Jenny Slate as Bellwether, Alan Tudyk as Duke Weaselton, Maurice LaMarche as Mr. Big, Josh Dallas as Frantic Pig, Tommy Chong as Yax, Mark Rhino Smith as Officer McHorn, Ray Persi as Flash, Shakira as Gazelle, and Bonnie Hunt and Don Lake as Judy’s parents, Bonnie and Stu Hopps.

The much anticipated sequel to Disney’s Academy Award-winning 2016 animated blockbuster Zootopia, Zootopia 2, is scheduled to open in theaters on November 28, 2025. The original movie won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and made a lasting impression on viewers all over the world because of its amazing animation and gripping narrative.
