Geely Galaxy’s A7 Hybrid Sedan Pre-sales will Start on July 11

Geely will begin accepting pre-orders for its Galaxy A7 EM-i sedan on July 11, which will go on sale in Q3 2025. With the company’s EM-i AI Super Hybrid 2.0 powertrain and Flyme Auto’s clever cockpit, the A7 is Geely’s first sedan built on the new Geely Electric Architecture (GEA).
Performance and Powertrain
Geely’s EM-i AI Super Hybrid 2.0 system powers the Galaxy A7 by combining an electric motor with a claimed 175 kW (235 hp) and a 1.5-liter normally aspirated engine that produces 82 kW (110 hp). An 11-speed electric drive unit is mated to the hybrid drivetrain.
With two battery options (8.5 kWh and 18.4 kWh), the A7 can go between 70 and 150 kilometers on electricity alone. Geely claims that the A7 takes 7.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. The hybrid can travel up to 2,100 kilometers on a full tank and charge, with a combined fuel consumption rating of 2.67 L/100 km.
Comfort and Interior Features
Three interior themes—Snow White, Autumn Brown, and Misty Grey—will be offered for the A7. A 12.3-inch instrument panel, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and a 15.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen infotainment display are all included. Additionally, high-spec trims come with a 16.6-inch head-up display.
Two 50W wireless phone chargers, physical climate and volume controls on the center island, and a 0.87-square-meter panoramic sunroof are further inside elements. Seats with a 120-degree recline, 132 mm of legroom, and massage, heating, and ventilation options are all advantageous to rear passengers.
Geely’s G-Pilot H3 driving assistance technology is standard on top models, and the cabin is equipped with 16 Flyme Sound speakers.
Dimensions and External Design
The Galaxy A7 features a closed front grille and a 196-element LED light strip that runs across the front fascia, incorporating Geely’s most recent style language. Compared to the original Tesla Model 3, it has a drag coefficient of 0.229 Cd, a low-slung shape, multi-spoke 19-inch wheels, and conventional door handles.
AI Features
With the Flyme Auto smart cockpit system, which was created in collaboration with Meizu, the A7 is the first Geely car to have it. Voice control, navigation, entertainment, and OTA upgrades are all integrated into its Xingrui AI Cloud 2.0 architecture, which is powered by Geely.
Expected Pricing
The whole pre-sale configuration lineup pricing has not yet been revealed by Geely. Higher trims are anticipated to cost around 150,000 yuan (20,870 USD), with the beginning price estimated at roughly 100,000 yuan (13,900 USD).
