2024 Isuzu MU-X Facelift Makes Its launched In Thailand With A Sportier Look And More Features

Isuzu Thailand has introduced a midlife-cycle upgrade to the 2024 MU-X lineup with its market debut. In 2020, the Isuzu MU-X went on sale as a new model, and the most recent update included a number of significant upgrades over the previous generation. In addition to being more feature-rich and safer than before, the new MU-X is sportier than the previous model.

Isuzu MU-X Makeover: New Design

The RS and Ultimate versions of the MU-X facelift have been modified by Isuzu. The more aggressive version, the MU-X RS, features a gloss black bumper surround, skid plates, and rear bumper extensions in addition to a blacked-out grille. The roof is completed in black, and there are new alloy wheels measuring twenty inches with flared wheel arches. For a striking contrast, the RS emblem is completed in lime green on the outside.

With its dual slat grille made of brushed aluminum, the Isuzu MU-X Ultimate trim offers more traditional look. In addition, it has diamond-cut alloy wheels, although the design is still more upscale. Sharper-looking headlamps are a feature of both grades, and the update also includes full-width LED taillights on the back.

Redesigned Isuzu MU-X: New Features

A revised 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 7-inch digital instrument dashboard have been added to the MU-X facelift’s cabin. While the Ultimate trim has truffle brown leather upholstery with matching inlays, the RS trim has red ambient lighting. For increased comfort, the door pads and seats have been modified.

The new MU-X from Isuzu now incorporates ADAS, which includes active and passive safety features including adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, traffic jam assistance, lane-keeping assistance, and a rear-cross traffic brake. For improved sight when off-roading, it also receives a surround-view monitor and a new perspective underneath the car that is reminiscent of a Land Rover.

Engine specs for the facelifted Isuzu MU-X

In Thailand, there are two diesel engine options that power the updated Isuzu MU-X. The top versions have a 3.0-liter oil burner with 187 horsepower, while the lower trims have a 1.9-liter engine with 148 horsepower. A 6-speed automatic transmission with 4×2 and 4×4 options is matched with both.

There are plans to introduce the MU-X makeover in more than 60 nations worldwide. In Thailand, the vehicle holds a 34.6% market share, outperforming rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and others. Nevertheless, it’s unknown when Isuzu India intends to release the newest models in the nation. The D-Max V-Cross and MU-X that are marketed in India are still models from the prior generation.
