Last October, Apple released the new M5 MacBook Pro, but we’re still waiting for the more powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max models. When can you expect that update to be released?
Apple Creator Studio
One popular belief is that Apple will announce and/or deliver the new M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro models on January 28. Why? Because it is the same day it will release its new Apple Creator Studio bundle.
This is usually a reliable indicator of an upcoming Apple upgrade. The organisation is well-known for rigorous supply management, which ensures that nothing goes to waste. The fact that these higher-end versions have been delayed is as good an indication as any that the M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro revisions will be released soon.
What to Expect from the New MacBook Pros
Aside from the M5 Pro and M5 Max chip options, we do not expect many changes to the new MacBook Pro. That upgrade is likely to enhance SSD performance and memory bandwidth as well.
The next major MacBook Pro revamp is scheduled towards the end of the year or early in 2027. That update will include a brand-new design, the M6 microprocessor, an OLED touchscreen, and more.
Are you going to buy an M5 Pro or M5 Max MacBook Pro when they’re announced?
