‘The Muppet Show’ Is Back With Sabrina Carpenter — Here’s How to Watch

The Muppet Show

It may not be easy being green, but it’s busy with the Miss Piggy movie in development and the return of The Muppet Show. Tonight, Sabrina Carpenter will host a show featuring the Jim Henson-created team. ABC broadcasts the series at 9 p.m. Disney+ is now able to stream it as well.

How to Watch The Muppet Show

  • Date, Time: Feb. 4, 9 p.m. ET/PT
  • Channel: ABC
  • Streaming: Disney+, DirecTV, Fubo

The 50th anniversary of the original Muppet Show is this year, and tonight’s special will act as a test run for the show’s eventual return. Maya Rudolph and Seth Rogen, who is executive producing the TV event, are also attending the special.

The special is the most recent small-screen resuscitation of the classic characters. The Muppets played a crew on a variety show presented by Miss Piggy in the 2015 television series The Muppets, which featured a concept similar to 30 Rock. Muppets Now, a 2020 series that adopted a free-form improvisational approach, came after it. In contrast, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem were the focus of the 2023 television series The Muppets Mayhem.

“Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the beloved Muppets ensemble are back with a brand-new special event,” according to Disney’s synopsis. When The Muppets return to the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter, there will undoubtedly be music, comedy, and a lot of chaos!

Carpenter, on the other hand, just finished a fantastic Grammy Awards performance in which she sang “Manchild” on a stage with an airport theme.

Disney+, which is offered as a stand-alone subscription starting at $11.99 for the ad-supported version, is where you can watch the special if you want to stream it. As an alternative, ABC offers a free trial of a live TV streaming service like DirecTV or Fubo.
