Realme GT Neo 6: 120W Charging, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Screen, 6000 Nits

The GT Neo 6, the highly anticipated replacement for the GT Neo 5, has been formally unveiled by Realme in China. With the goal of providing top-notch performance at a reasonable cost, the phone bills itself as a “mid-range flagship.”

Activity

The GT Neo6 is equipped with Qualcomm’s most recent sub-flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile platform. Users can expect optimal performance for demanding applications like e-sports when combined with a 10,000-level VC cooling system.

In order to further improve performance, the phone includes an improved “AI Burning Mode” that automatically switches to full performance mode when a compatible cooling back clip is added, as well as a Geek Performance Panel 2.0 that lets users set CPU and GPU frequencies.

Realme says that all of this equates to amazing gaming performance. In comparison to conventional 720p or upscaled resolutions, the phone offers greater images with native 1.5K resolution in “Genshin Impact.” It can also improve frame stability and graphic quality in well-known games like “Honor of Kings.”

Up to 16GB of LPDDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage are available as memory choices.

Display

Another standout feature is the display, which hasn’t really altered from the Neo 6 SE. That is to say, the phone boasts a 6.78-inch screen with a peak brightness rating of 6000 nits that was co-developed with BOE.

Although that is the maximum, the manual maximum brightness is 1000 nits, and the normal global maximum brightness is 1600 nits. This 8T LTPO panel has low-stroboscopic 3+1 Pulse DC-like technology, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a customizable refresh rate of 0.5-120Hz for a comfortable viewing experience.

Additionally, an industry-first function called Greenfield AI eye protection actively senses user weariness and modifies several screen parameters in response. For a comfortable viewing experience, it’s paired with additional features including hardware-level blue light suppression and low-frequency flicker dimming.

Camera

The rear of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE is equipped with two cameras. A 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) serves as the primary sensor. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor (Sony IMX355) is included with it. Also, a 32MP Sony IMX615 camera is located on the front for taking selfies.

Battery

The largest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phone battery, at 5500mAh, powers the GT Neo6, which also offers 120W fast charging. It enables a 50% charge in ten minutes or less.

Realme also doesn’t cut corners in other areas. The phone has IP65 dust and splash resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for enhanced protection. Among its rivals, it is the only phone with “dual-frequency GPS + tri-frequency Beidou” for extremely
Realme doesn’t skimp on other features either. For enhanced protection, the phone has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 installed, which offers IP65 dust and splash resistance. With “dual-frequency GPS + tri-frequency Beidou” for extremely precise navigation, it is the only phone among its rivals to have this capability.

To complete the flagship experience, the phone also includes NFC, an X-axis linear motor, and an IR sensor.

A Partnership for Comic Book Lovers

Realme and a well-known Chinese comic IP have joined together for the first time to introduce a limited-edition Realme GT Neo6 “Perfect World” animation Yunxi gift box.
It comes with a personalized phone with unique ringtones, themes, and a comic-inspired charging light effect. Along with additional accessories, the box contains the most recent Realme Buds Air 6 TWS and a personalized phone case.
