Price Range for Hyundai Venue N Line at Launch: Rs. 12.16 to Rs. 13.15L

There is only one engine available for the Hyundai Venue N Line, a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline motor with close to 120 horsepower.

Hyundai recently introduced a facelift for the Venue, which is favourably appreciated in India. However, the Brezza and Nexon were still the best-selling SUVs when we last looked. However, Hyundai, being Hyundai, has a plan for Venue. This takes the form of a more athletic N Line version of Venue, similar to the i20 N Line.

Additionally, Nexon has unique editions including the recently released Jet Edition, Dark Edition, and Kaziranga Edition. With these limited editions, Tata is even generating strong sales. However, none of them have been mechanically improved to make them sportier options. N Line is poised to take the show at that point. Bookings can be made for Rs. 20,000.

The Tata special editions for the Nexon only receive minor feature changes, such as ventilated front seats with the Kaziranga Edition. However, Venue is missing this. Hyundai has maintained the N Line philosophy that was included with the i20. In that regard, Venue N Line will get several mechanical as well as cosmetic improvements.

The Hyundai Venue N Line is available in the N6 and N8 models. The Hyundai Venue N Line N8 model costs Rs 13.15 lakh, while the Venue N Line N6 costs Rs 12.16 lakh. Prices are all ex-sh. View the in-depth walkthrough video of the new N Line Venue, which is below and is credited to agyaCARi akash.

Beginning with aesthetic improvements inside, Venue N Line has a completely black interior with red accents and red stitching on the seats. In addition to them, it has sporty metallic pedals, red ambient lighting, and welcome-function-added puddle lamps. While the interior design, security measures, and luxuries will be identical to those of a typical Venue. Dashcam with Dual Camera is the segment that comes initially (front and rear).

Red highlights on the lower lip of the front and rear bumpers are present on the exterior of the Venue N Line. In addition, the N Line badging is added to the front fender and tailgate. To further emphasise its sporting look, Hyundai ought to have provided the grille in black. But like the standard Venue, it is available in chrome.

These red inserts are also found on roof rails and brake calipers to amplify the sub 4m SUV’s sporty appeal. Venue N Line also gets new 16” alloy wheels with N badging instead of Hyundai’s logo. At the rear, apart from the red elements and N Line badging everything is mostly kept the same. Except for its dual-tip exhaust, though. Which is not only an aesthetic change, but also a mechanical one.

Specs & Competition

Coming to the mechanical changes, Venue N Line gets a dual-tip exhaust which is also tuned to make a throatier exhaust note. It also gets a stiffened suspension system to provide a sportier feel than a regular Venue. It also gets a new three-spoke steering wheel providing better feedback from road surface and paddle shifters too. Coming to its beating and pulsating heart, N Line version of Venue will get a 1.0L GDI turbo-petrol engine which is capable of making 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm of torque. But unlike the i20 N Line that gets iMT and DCT transmission options, Venue N line is only offered with the 7-speed DCT. At Rs. 43k more than regular Venue SX (O), Turbo DCT Dual tone, N Line seems fairly justified for everything it offers. It competes with Kia Sonet X Line and Tata Nexon’s Dark Edition, Kaziranga Edition, and Jet Edition. (All prices ex-sh).
