Oppo A5 5G Launched with 120Hz Display, and 6,000mAh Battery

Oppo A5 Pro 5G and A5x 5G smartphones have been introduced in India. Today, the company unveiled the Oppo A5 5G, a new model in its lineup. It is priced at Rs 15,499, which puts it in the middle of the A5x and A5 Pro.

Oppo A5 5G Features and Characteristics

Oppo A5 5G has an SGS Gold durability mark, military-grade (MIL-STD-810H) shock resistance, and IP65-rated protection against dust and water. It has double-tempered glass that is 160% stronger than usual, watertight sealing, and reinforced ports. It is made to withstand drops, scratches, and harsh conditions thanks to its strong aluminum frame. A layer of Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen. The device weighs 194 grams and has dimensions of 165.7 x 76.2 x 7.9 mm.

Display

The Oppo A5 5G has a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1604 × 720, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a pixel density of 264 ppi, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits while in HBM mode. Android 15-based ColorOS 15 powers the gadget. It has a side-facing fingerprint sensor for security.

Battery and Storage

A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 CPU, 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage power the device. Additionally, microSD card expansion for storage is supported. The Oppo A5 5G is powered by a sizable 6,000mAh battery that can be charged at 45W rapid rate.

Camera

The dual back camera arrangement of the A5 5G consists of a 2-megapixel monochrome lens and a 50-megapixel main sensor. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera is available for selfies. Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G compatibility, and a USB-C port are other important features.

Oppo A5 5G Price and Availability

The Oppo A5 5G comes in two different versions: the 6GB+128GB model costs Rs 15,499 (about $180), while the 8GB+128GB model costs Rs 16,999 (about $200). It comes in two color choices: Mist White and Aurora Green. Customers may buy the phone from top physical retailers, Amazon, Flipkart, and the official Oppo store.
