NUICC Launches South India Regional Chamber in Bengaluru to Propel U.S.–India Trade and Innovation
BENGALURU, India – Marking two decades of fostering robust economic ties between the United States and India, the National U.S.–India Chamber of Commerce (NUICC) today announced the launch of its South India Regional Chamber in Bengaluru. This strategic expansion targets one of the world’s most dynamic technology and industrial corridors, aiming to significantly accelerate bilateral trade, investment, and innovation partnerships.
Headquartered in the “Silicon Valley of India,” the new chamber will serve the pivotal states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala. This region is a powerhouse of global IT, deep-tech R&D, advanced manufacturing (including EVs and aerospace), pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. The launch coincides with NUICC’s year-long 20th-anniversary celebration, highlighting its legacy of facilitating cross-border business and its forward-looking commitment to the next era of strategic partnership.
“Our 20-year journey has been built on connecting visionaries, navigating markets, and unlocking mutual growth,” said Dr Purnima Voria, Founder & CEO of NUICC. “The inauguration of our South India chamber is a natural and critical evolution. By embedding ourselves in Bengaluru, we are placing NUICC at the epicentre of innovation. Our mission is to provide U.S. companies with unparalleled access to this vibrant ecosystem and to empower South Indian enterprises with the networks and insights needed to thrive in the American market.”
The South India Regional Chamber will function as a dedicated hub for:
- Facilitating Strategic Connections: Curated B2B meetings, sector-specific roundtables, and high-profile delegations between U.S. and South Indian business leaders, government officials, and startup founders.
- Navigating the Innovation Ecosystem: Providing U.S. firms with direct access to India’s premier R&D centres, tech incubators, and academic institutions, while guiding Indian innovators on scaling and partnering in the U.S.
- Policy Advocacy & Market Intelligence: Offering actionable insights on state and national regulations, incentives, and market trends to de-risk expansion and investment decisions in both directions.
- Sector-Focused Initiatives: Launching targeted programs in key verticals such as semiconductors, cybersecurity, renewable energy, defence technology, and healthcare innovation.
The launch event in Bengaluru featured a keynote address by a prominent Government Official, alongside a panel discussion with CEOs from leading U.S. and Indian technology firms. The discussions underscored the critical role of institutional partnerships in building resilient supply chains and co-developing solutions for global challenges.
“Karnataka, and South India at large, is not just an outsourcing destination but a co-innovation partner,” stated Dr Satish Kumar Seena. CEO of Relcko US LLC. “The NUICC’s permanent presence here sends a powerful signal that the U.S.–India corridor is moving into a new, more integrated phase focused on shared technological leadership.”
The NUICC South India Regional Chamber begins operations immediately, with a full agenda of events and initiatives planned for the first quarter of 2026.
