Moto G66j 5G Smartphone Launched in Japan: Price, Features

Moto G66j 5G: Motorola has released the Moto G66j 5G smartphone in Japan. This phone is incredibly robust and resistant to dust and water thanks to its MIL-STD-810H and IP68/IP69 certifications. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, a 120Hz display, and a large 5200mAh battery.

The mid-range Moto G66j 5G smartphone was introduced by Motorola in Japan. This Motorola phone features military-grade strength MIL-STD-810H and is rated IP68/IP69. That is to say, this phone will not be harmed by dust or moisture. At launch, this smartphone had a 120Hz display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, and a 5200mAh battery.

The Moto G66j 5G has a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD display with 391ppi pixel density, FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080p), and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a fingerprint scanner located on the side for security.

A 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens are featured on the Moto G66j’s camera front. Its 32-megapixel front camera with quad pixel technology for better low-light performance is ideal for selfies. The phone can record full-HD videos at 30 frames per second in the front and 60 frames per second in the back.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7060 CPU, which powers the Moto G66j 5G, has six efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz and two high-performance cores running at 2.6GHz. It has 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded by microSD card up to 2TB and 8GB of RAM, which can be increased to 24GB with RAM Boost.

Three different color options will be offered for the Moto G66j 5G: Pantone Black Oyster, Pantone Dill, and Pantone Gray Mist. The G66, which retails for JPY 34,800 (~$220), is set to go on sale in Japan on July 10.
