Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, and Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie are the three highly awaited animated films that Paramount Pictures has formally decided to reschedule their theatrical release dates. While Mutant Mayhem 2 is currently scheduled to hit theaters in 2027, the latter two films are scheduled for release in 2026.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2 has been formally added to the Paramount Pictures theatrical schedule for 2027. The Seth Rogen-produced follow-up was originally scheduled for release in October 2026, but it will now debut on September 17, 2027.
Donatello (Micah Abbey), Michaelangelo (Shamon Brown Jr.), Leonardo (Nicolas Cantu), and Raphael (Brady Noon) defended New York City from a battle that threatened to destroy the city in the brand-new TMNT origin narrative Mutant Mayhem.
Jeff Rowe will once again be directing the sequel. However, co-directors Kyle Spears and Yashar Kassai will accompany him this time. Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Brady Noon as Raphael, Micah Abbey as Donatello, and Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo will all return to the voice cast.
The Legend of Aang
The first film from Nickelodeon’s Avatar Studios, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, has been formally rescheduled from early 2026 to the fall of the following year. The eagerly awaited fantasy adventure film, which was originally scheduled to open on January 30, 2026, will now open on October 9, 2026.
Paw Patrol: The Dino
Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie will now open in theaters one week sooner on July 24, 2026, instead of July 31, 2026, as originally planned. It will release in the same month as the Tom Holland sequel, the new Evil Dead film, Minions 3, and the live-action Moana film, even though it will not be directly competing with Marvel Studios: Spider-Man: Brand New Day at the box office.
