HBO Sunday nights will feature Tim Robinson’s weird comedy.
The comedian and actor, who has been in television series like “Detroiters” and “I Think You Should Leave,” is the lead and co-creator of HBO’s newest comedy, “The Chair Company,” which debuted today, October 12.
According to HBO’s official synopsis, Robinson plays William Ronald Trosper, the main character who “begins investigating a vast and elaborate conspiracy after an embarrassing workplace incident.”
Robinson starred in A24’s “Friendship,” which is currently available for streaming on HBO Max, earlier this year. Among the directors and executive producers of “The Chair Company” is Andrew DeYoung, the writer and director of “Friendship.”

HBO’s “The Chair Company” premieres today, October 12, at 10 p.m. ET. At the same time, HBO’s HBO Max streaming service will debut the episode.
