ep’s life was about to change as he agreed to exchange his favourite, Bombay Rockers, album for his school friend’s 50 Cent’s. His first listen of ‘In Da Club’ and Rajdeep knew he had seen the lord in the face of hip-hop. It was after a few years of exploring the genre, the artists and after flirting with beats and texts that Rajdeep Sinha was reborn as Stunnah Beatz. This critically and internationally lauded juggernaut, born and raised in Shillong and Guwhati, wrote his own verses and raps at 17 and took to his prodigious production talents when he found himself unsatiated with the trap/hip-hop riffs and beats available on the music-market and he has never looked back since. He first gained mainstream limelight when he won Beatstars' Best Remix award for Tabletops by Murs along with fellow producer Sez On The Beat, where they vanquished international artists who were making it big at that time. It was shortly after this win that Stunnah’s astronomical production talent, his cosmic, cyclopean creativity and consistency met Sez On The Beat, with whom he completes the internationally acclaimed hip-hop/trap production duo known as Stunnah Sez Beatz. In his revolutionary style, his devotion, his experimentations, and R&Ds he gave a new face to hip-hop in India and jazzed up the existing definitions of trap as known by the nation. Signed by Divine’s entrepreneurial venture Gully Gang that is a mammothian, all-encompassing entity for India’s hip-hop talent, Stunnah has also made a name for himself in international grounds. With his incredible roster of records which are always on rotation in most rap fans' playlists, he is credited with being the creative powerhouse behind some of the biggest homegrown hip-hop tracks, and his production credits have recurringly entailed artists like PNB Rock, SI, L2B Gang, Chip, Naezy, Ard Adz, DAX, YBN Almighty and many others. It’s exhilarating and can easily give anyone the chills, how Stunnah went from being under the heavy influence of artists like Eminem and Lil Wayne to producing beats for international artists signed under Def Jam, Atlantic, etc. The latest, gilded feather to his hip-hop cap, though, is how Stunnah was an executive producer for Divine’s new album Punya Paap and of tracks like 3:59 AM. The album debuted number 1 on Spotify India and moved on to become an overall gangbuster. Well known artists from The USA and The UK like Nas and Dutchavelli were in on the album too which clearly made Stunnah a hip-hop sensation along with the best go-to creative magnífic for music production in the country.
