How to Stream ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ From Anywhere
Jimmy Kimmel will return to the air on Tuesday night following the Charlie Kirk issue that resulted in Disney suspending his program for almost a week.
TV station group owners Nexstar Media and Sinclair stated that they will continue to preempt “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” even though it will continue to air on ABC at 11:35 p.m. ET. For the time being, more than one-fourth of ABC’s approximately 240 national stations will not air the show.
However, those without cable may still watch Jimmy Kimmel live online via a number of live TV streams that have access to ABC. “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is best streamed on DirecTV, Sling TV (Blue), and Hulu + Live TV.
Paying $4.99 for Sling’s recently released 24-hour Day Pass is your best option if all you want to do is watch the one return episode.
When Kimmel returns, Glen Powell and Sarah McLachlan will be her first guests. McLachlan’s recent demonstration of support for the late-night host at a Disney event makes her attendance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” especially noteworthy.
Powell is now promoting a Disney project of his own and will be Kimmel’s main sit-down guest on Tuesday’s show. On September 30, the sports comedy series “Chad Powers,” which he co-created with Michael Waldron and appears in, will debut on Hulu.
Disney’s ABC said last week that it will remove Kimmel’s well-liked late-night program from its schedule “indefinitely” due to comments the host made on the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Nextar Media was the source of the instruction. Just a few minutes after ABC declared they would continue Kimmel’s show, celebrities wrote an open letter to the ACLU on Monday in support of Kimmel, but they made no mention of the letter.
Sling TV or DirecTV provide “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for streaming.
