2026 Land Rover Discovery Sport Adds New Special Variants

2026 Land Rover Discovery Sport: Land Rover has now unveiled the Discovery Sport 2026 version Globally. Along with a host of new features, the update presents a more aggressive exterior. Along with new technology, amenities, and both exterior and interior improvements, the 2018 model also gets new special edition trims.

Starting with the variations, a new Metropolitan trim that was modeled by a comparable version of the larger Discovery has taken the lead in the Discovery Sport line. In comparison to the standard variant, the new model has silver-finished badging, new 20-inch alloy wheels, silver grille inserts, and tread plates bearing the Metropolitan logo.

Inside, the Metropolitan boasts a 650W 14-speaker MeridianTM surround sound system, Windsor leather, 14-way electrically adjustable heated and cooled seats, cabin air purification plus, and more.

The 1989 Discovery served as the inspiration for the design of the Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark. Among its many features are a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, Land Rover’s recognizable ‘Click & Go’ tablet holders, a 3D surround-view camera system, and tread plates with a mountain-range insignia.

The base model, the Land Rover Discovery Sport Dynamic S, features a gloss black grille, wheel arches, lower bumpers, and front claw detailing, along with exterior design features including gloss black lower body sides and Discovery script.

3 New Accessory Packages Available for the Discovery Sport

Beach Days Pack: The Beach Days pack includes a chilled storage box beneath the front center armrest to keep drinks cool while at the beach, as well as a luggage organizer in the boot for smaller goods.

Road Trip Pack: The Road Trip pack, which includes a roof box and cross-barred roof rails, increases the SUV’s capacity for carrying luggage. Additionally, the pack incorporates clip-on media device holders on the front seat backs for mounting wireless entertainment devices.

Snow Days Pack: The Snow Days Pack includes clip-on “Snow Traction” wheel accessories to increase traction when driving in the snow, rubber matting to keep the footwells dry, and accessories to transport snowboards and skis on the roof.

Prices for the refreshed Discovery start at £64,810, or £63,775 for the van-backed Commercial variant.
