The 2026 Asia-Pacific (Hainan) Seafood Industry Supply Chain Conference (APSIC 2026) will be held in Haikou from October 20–22, 2026. The conference is organized under the theme “Blue Granary · Setting Sail from Hainan.”
The event is structured as an annual industry conference for the seafood supply chain. It will include an opening ceremony and plenary session, closed-door dialogues, parallel summits, thematic forums, matchmaking sessions, and industry field visits. The conference will be conducted in Chinese and English with simultaneous interpretation.
Conference Focus
The conference will address regional industry topics including raw material supply, export market requirements, price movements in key species, access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises, aquatic animal health, and broodstock supply. Discussions will cover the transition from scale expansion to value creation and from resource dependence to technology-driven development.
Topics include feed protein source substitution, shrimp disease prevention, grouper and Babylon snail breeding, and tilapia trade. The program also includes full-chain supply-demand matchmaking sessions.
International Participation
The conference expects participation from more than 20 countries and regions, with approximately 2,000 on-site participants and simultaneous online streaming. The program includes international business association representatives and national pavilions from tropical and distant-water fishery nations. A total of 3,000+ professional purchasers are expected to attend.
Program Elements
The conference will include the launch of the Asia-Pacific Seafood Industry Supply Chain Cooperation Declaration and the Asia-Pacific Seafood Brand Supply Chain Alliance. Four specialized exhibition zones will be set up: Domestic Brand Image, International Premium Products, Smart Supply Chain, and Frozen Foods. Topics will span breeding, feed, aquaculture, processing, trade, finance, and logistics. Supporting programs include supply-demand matchmaking sessions, policy consultation desks, and small-hall negotiation areas. The concurrent exhibition covers 100,000 square meters.
